Today in the Battelle Science Fiction Club we saw some films that will be presented at the Tri-cities Independent/Fan Film Festival running October 11 at the Tri-City Comic-Con. We only had time for around six shorts, but they all pretty solid. Looking at the current list there are some entries with wonderful potential. I missed the judging (same day as a friend’s wedding), but from what I hear my initial impressions are correct. The last film we saw was Ascension, where a man walks in on a human sacrifice was quite amusing. It’s embedded below for your enjoyment.
For as much as I complain about this area I will say there is some excellent community driven events here. See you at the Tri-Con.
